Kenya works with youth in informal settlements and addresses the structural drivers that directly and indirectly increases their vulnerability including poverty, gender inequality, sexual violence, and a lack of education.
As part of our interventions, we offer subsidized vocational training to empower youth to tackle the effects of poverty in their lives and their communities. At our Mukuru Center of HOPE, youth have a safe space where they can receive the following training:
